Another Christmas is upon us, and another great competition for you to get excited about winning! This year VW Heritage is offering to pay for your dream VW roadtrip!
Last year you could of won the parts for your project, in our Win your Winter Wishlist competition; this time we have £1000 up for grabs to pay towards the trip of a lifetime in your beloved Volkswagen!
You just need to tell us where you want to go, who with, and what VW you will travel in. It could be anywhere in the world, in fact we are inviting entries from any VW driver on planet Earth!
This roadtrip could take you and the family away in your campervan; let us pay for the Santander Ferry crossing to get you to Spain, so you can explore Europe, just as you have always talked about. Maybe you would prefer to checkout a far-away VW show, this prize fund could cover your petrol and hotel costs to get your show car to Worthersee.
Got Route 66 on your bucket list, or dreamt of crossing the desert in a beach buggy? Now is the time to make it happen! This competition could make 2015 a pretty special year for you!
Entering couldn’t be easier, just tell us what you are planning, or what you would plan if you won, and we’ll do the rest! VW Heritage will pick 5 favourites from all entries made by December 31st and then put them to public vote!
The winner will be chosen by January 31st 2015. To enter, and for all the details please see our website here.
So, best of luck… and we look forward to reading where your dreams could take you!

If it was January to February time I’d hit the ferry to France, head across to the Mont Blanc, find a nice plug in near a decent Hotel, don my ski’s & hit the slopes, as my family love skiing , we would all enjoy it, I.d travel in an LT Camper-van, rebuilt by myself , solid & reliable & keeps up easily with the most modern traffic .On the tow hook would be my 55 Oval 2110 cc, just for local transport & having handbrake fun on the ice and doing the shopping.
Hi there, thanks for your comment. Sadly due to a technical issue all competition entries made prior to Friday 5th December haven’t recorded the entry details, and so will need re-entering. We apologise for this mess up, and would ask that you re-enter to be in with a chance of winning.

Myself and my 3 children aged 12, 10 and 6, would take our lovely T25 called Jessie on a fabulous trip of ‘their’ lifetime so far! In the summer holidays we would start at Camp Bestival in Dorset, then head down slowly down to the south coast, catch the ferry from Portsmouth to France, maybe Cherbourg. The trip would then take whatever route , shape and adventure that they decide. We would take books and maps for them to discover and have explore. I would add reason and practical advise but the children would make the choices. A time to have fun, be together, learn, and laugh..a perfect summer x

If we won the competion, myself, my wife and 2 girls will take the Golf Rallye to the Chunnel. Drive through France, Italy then into Austria for the Worthersee show. Take in a few days there then drive up to Nurburgring for an M5 taxi and maybe take the Rallye round. Drive to Stuttgart for the Porsche factory then up to Wolfsburg for the VW factory tour and Museum. Then take a drive through Holland, back on the ferry to Newcastle then home to Scotland.

I’m now living down in Australia, and have bought my Us westy with me from the uk, so I would quite like to get out and about along the eastern coast of Australia, particularly down to the gp at Melbourne. I Quite like the thought of travelling one way in the bus , taking it on the train, then some more in the bus, just so the family and I can see some of the outback too.
Great idea for a comp by the way!
My girlfriend is planning on moving to England. I would like to spend a few weeks over the summer showing her the English countryside and seaside destinations in my restored polo gt coupe. I would like to end up at lands end potentially camping the whole way down.
I would like to drive my mk1 golf to the airport, catch a plane to Thailand , then hire a vw camper to tour the beaches of krabi and head North to the jungles of Chang Mai …
Me and the brilliant adam have talked about
A trip to Wolfsburg so if I won I’ll finish building
My buggy load it up with my little girl daisie and
The brillian adam and off we all trot xxx
I’ve wanted a Vw camper since I was 17 and bought my first camper earlier this year and have been slowly giving her a full restoration ready for her first trip in summer 2015.
if I won this competition I would take my wife and 2 kids (3 yr old Fox and 5 yr old Beau) on a tour around Europe including Disney land Paris.
If I was lucky enough to win the competion, I would do the journey I have been wanting to do for a number of years,
My brother and my best mate have both been building their cars for a few years, lucky I finished my mk2 16v last year and hit a couple of shows with it, next year once my brother has finished his mk1 caddy we would pack up and hit the open road heading for wulfsburg to see the vw headquarters. We would then take it from there visiting other places in Germany (with our fully built show cars) 🙂
Just submitted my entry for this great competition! Can’t wait to hear what others who enter are planning as a Great Road Trip!
If we win the cross over 72 Bay Camper will be getting a work out from Hawks Nest Australia in New South Wales all the way around the bottom of the country to Margaret River Western Australia, bring it on VW Heritage!!!
I’m planning 18 months round america proper camper style road trip and would love to put the money towards buying a vw camper out there at the moment it’s just me and my camera going but would really love to get a vw to do it in I currently own a vw polo which is really good. It’s been a dream kc mine since I was small to do the ‘Big american road trip’ and in a vw camper would just make it perfect cat
Dream trip in my T4 with my wife and daughter would be to discover Scandinavia! Sweden, Norway and Denmark taking in the fjords and the Northern Lights. Snow and ice most welcome!!!!
Road trip to worthersee in my retro mk2 golf camping as much as possible trying to show my girlfriend why I love vw and the full lifestyle so much. Then when there I’m gunna buy as much oem retro vw stuff I need /want that i can fit in my car. Hopefully picking up some ideas and knowledge from people who have done 20vt awd projects. Then saunter back taking the least direct route just for the sake of enjoying the adventure.
