Along with our support of the Red Hawks Duo, the VW powered aerobatic display team, we are also pleased to announce our support of the Formula Vee Centre, and their drivers competing in the 750mc Formula Vee championship in 2013.

 The Formula Vee race series has been running for 45 years in the UK. Their cars are powered by highly tuned 1300cc single port aircooled engines, and utilise Beetle front axle, rear suspension and gearbox to achieve average top speeds of 95mph over the course of a race lap. The drivers currently compete in a 14 race championship, made up of 7 weekends with 2 races at each venue. Our contribution towards the running costs of the Vee Centre club will help to keep this fast paced low budget race series well and truely alive.

We will be keeping you up to date with race results and pictures from each round of racing. The first of which we will be attending at Brands Hatch this weekend (sadly the season opener at Donington Park was snowed off). 15-16 June – Pembrey, South Wales.

13-14 July –Rockingham, Northamptonshire.

24th July – Silverstone, Northamptonshire.

21-22 September –Donington Park, Leicestershire.
