Bribing the other half with paints and colour choice, or swatches of material to be used on your seats just so that you get the new exhaust or wheels your after?

We were having a chat here about “exchanges” we make in order to keep the projects going. Do you succumb to soap operas to get that extra hour in the garage, or maybe you are more subtle with “how about we go on a family holiday” just so you get to drive the bus again!
Would be interested to know, family friendly of course, what your trade off’s are to keep the VW blood running through your veins.
Perhaps.. even worse, your other half doesn’t even know you have a VW!!
