Overcast moving to heavy rain was the outlook for June’s meet. Just one day after the Summer Solstice but you could easily mistake it for a February evening in Burgess Hill, so much for Summer!

We needn’t worry though, as we were treated to a nice spread of classic Volkswagen machinery, from Rich’s 57 oval cabriolet, all the way through to Mk4 Golfs and T4 Transporters. A big thanks, as ever to all those who come along come rain or shine and make this meet what it is.

A personal favourite of mine for the evening was the white squareback, that was perfect in my eyes!

The next meet is Thursday 19th July (the week before Track Attack), and then Thursday 16th August and finally Thursday 20th September rounding off the year. Hope to see you and your VW at one soon!
