We have been invited back to Brands Hatch this year by monthly German car meet, Prept. After the success of last years Unite42nite we were hoping to get to do this all again, and now we can! This time it will be even bigger, occupying the lower paddock,  plus we have secured the use of the track in the evening and have asked a few friends to help us out too!

So, the important stuff first…. Wednesday 25th July is the date for the diary… yup! It is a school night, and the meet starts at 3pm; so get thinking of excuses to skive out the last few hours of work. (Be creative -we can’t all be at the dentists!)

The meet starts at 3pm, we suggest getting in early if you have something special you wish to show off – prime parking will go quickly! Early opening should reduce the queuing for those coming down after work – and will enable us to get as many cars as possible into the circuit in the quickest possible time!

For those wanting to get in on the track action, track sessions start at 5pm but you will be needed earlier for briefings -all track bookings are to be placed on the Brands Hatch webpage. Again, don’t hang around for these sessions… there are limited number of spaces so book NOW if you want to get on track!! Do it here!! Track time starts from £25 for 20 minutes, and very kindly David (VW Heritage M.D) is covering the cost of helmet hire, usually £10 – keeping this a wallet friendly event!

In on the action are legends of the aircooled show scene – Cool Flo Vintage. Aswell as bringing their signature splitscreen van collection, they will be spinning the tunes from a marquee in the lower paddock….creating a hub for this trackside party.

Also helping us out are Phil and Simon from Apex Festival. With their petrol filled fingers in many a motorsport pie, they will be bringing a few of their racing friends along to show us exactly what they can do in a couple of demonstration sessions.

On top of this, legendary German tuners Nothelle will be in the UK (after their appearance at GTi International) showing off, and thrashing their race bred Mk1 Golf and OEM+ Mk2 Golf Gti round the track.
