Now available are these rather lovely wood slat racks for the third generation Type 2, a pleasant change to boring black roof bars, which lack a little style to say the least. Manufactured for us in 2, 3 and 4 bow sizes and made from polished stainless and treated hardwood they are built to last. Speaking of which.. you will need to build it, they come supplied as a flat pack (sending a built 4 bow roof rack is a little tricky!) don’t panic though, it’s pretty simple and instructions are supplied.
