After last years success and raising almost £200 for the Childrens Trust at Tadworth Court we have chosen to support another local children’s charity this year with our annual Santa Cruise.

 For those unfamiliar with the concept; we are encouraging classic car drivers and passengers to dress as Father Christmas, and join us in a convoy from VW Heritage headquarters to our destination, Chestnut Tree House near Arundel in Sussex. The drive will be about an hour- the route is to be confirmed (Andy won’t be leading either!)

Dressed as Santa, waving at passing cars (waiting for the drivers to clock whats happening)  gets even the most “Bah Humbug” of us in the festive mood. So what do you have to do?!!

As with last years event we will be charging £10 per car entry. This will allow for one Santa Suit and £5 of this will go straight to the charity. For those travelling with you, additional Santa suits may be purchased at £5 a suit, allowing them to get in the spirit of things too.

So, the date!! Sunday December 4th, meeting at VW Heritage HQ at 12.30pm and aiming to leave at 1pm. Just like last year, but even more important this time out as the numbers could be a lot bigger, please tell us if you want to join in. That way we can make sure there are enough suits for everyone!  Email social@vwheritage.com to confirm your places. Don’t worry if you don’t have a VW -all VAG cars are welcome, and we’re opening the entry to all makes of classic car too!
