Anna dusted the “VR” off the week before;  it’s annual visit for MOT was all that stood between it and an £80 fuel bill for its drive to the pod. The joys of owning a big engined Golf I suppose! The certificate was green in two visits, a worn wheel bearing the reason for the return. Good job they don’t test starter motors!!
