Ultimate Dubs isn’t far off now, but instead of taking our cars, we wanted to take yours. Holding a competition for all Mk1 and Mk2 models over on Facebook saw over 20 great looking cars offered to us, each with their own merits and a different take on how a VW should be. Factory standard cars, OEM+, Race spec and custom all competing for our eye, and we had such a dilemma chosing just one.. so we didn’t, we chose two. 

We thought it would be nice to do a quick run down on the winners’ car’s..so you can see what has gone into making them the cars that we chose.

First up is Adam’s Mk2 G60, now finished in a 90’s Brit look style in a rather bright hue, but this car was once “just another Golf” before he got hold of it; although quite a clean one from the looks of it and benefitting from theG60 transplant already. Adam has completed almost all the work himself bar the  paint work. The original interior has been given the boot and some 90’s themed leather and matching door cards have moved in. The BBS’s have remained, but they work so well and if it’s not broke…
