Grounded member Jon Grant’s ’87 Mk2 should need no introduction, but for those of you who aren’t familiar with this vision in white, the lowdown goes like this.

Originally owned by his mum, Jon got his hands on the car and gradually modified it, going through a couple of phases on the way, leading up to what it’s now become, an OEM+ themed, smooth bayed, G60’d, Recaro’d show winning master piece, with a set of über exclusive Rial rims.

Jon got in touch with us via the Edition 38 forums, in need of a replacement front bumper and at rather short notice, his car had been picked to go on the Meguiars stand at the Classic Motor Show at the NEC, between a flurry of late night forum messages, phone calls and rapid courier deployments, the bumper was winging its way to East Anglia and was on the car ready for the show, where I’m sure you’ll agree, it looks spot on (the car that is, though the bumper is pretty good too!)
