Deutsch Connection 10.5: Scotland

Home from the Sussex VW show the weekend previous, no time to rest, the Lupo was being packed up ready for an all-nighter, off to bonny Scotland!  Travelling north to visit friends and family the week flew by; although the weather was to be expected, and pretty overcast.

Sunday we were to travel home, but I had a VW surprise in store for the other half.  DC10.5 was being held just outside of Glasgow, the organisers taking over the Verve VW dealership, offering all those who missed DC10 in Northampton earlier in the year a chance to get together north of the border – it is run by a Scottish club after all. The weather was glorious, which was a pleasant surprise after the week just been, it was a nice opportunity to see some fresh cars. As a regular visitor to the southern shows, you do begin to tire of seeing the same cars over and over.

Camera in hand, as ever, I snapped some pictures, grabbed some more stickers for the Loop and we headed off  home. 7 hours later we were glad to be back, now to catch up on some sleep!

Big thanks to the organisers for making us feel so welcome.

Anna
