After hours of scraping and cleaning of the original body and feeling a little dejected, I stumbled accross the owner of a great shape original Sand Scorcher bodyshell at a local R/C race meeting. After a bit of thinking and haggling I managed to pick up a complete body, minus door mirrors and a door handle for an absolute bargain of £15.

It could do with a paint job still, but it is 30 years old after all! There is hardly any damage on it and has most of the rare sort after parts!

Paint should commence this week. Keep checking back!
