One of our I.T staff and resident Tamiya R/C fans has just recently acquired a bit of a collectors item in the form of a 1970’s Tamiya Sand Scorcher.

It was purchased on eBay and arrived this morning much to the excitement of the Operations Director Mark.

The Scorcher has seen better days, with one of the many previous owners deciding to create a rather crude rear spoiler out of filler on the bodyshell, there is also some damage to the front quarter light on the N/S.

The body will be stripped back and checked for other damage before repair work begins.

Keep checking back for updates as this is going to be a pretty large project.
