We are pleased to announce the 5th annual VW Heritage Santa Cruise will take place on Sunday 14th December. As with previous years, we will be taking our Christmassy convoy to The Childrens Trust at Tadworth Court, nr Reigate, and we would love you to join us! 

If you would like to make a difference this Christmas, while having fun and driving your beloved VW or classic car, then please come along and take part. You won’t regret it! The fun all starts at VW Heritage HQ at 12.30, where we will meet, get dressed into supplied Santa outfits, and ready ourselves for an hour or so drive to the Children’s Trust.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. They work with children and young people from across the UK to help with care, rehabilitation, education and research, aiming to give them the opportunity to live the best life possible.

Decorating your car isn’t compulsory, but in years gone there have been some fantastic efforts made, which all adds to the mobile Santa spectacle we create, as we travel the 43 miles to Tadworth Court. We plan to leave Shoreham by 1.30pm, which will get us to Tadworth just after 2.30pm.

For those wishing to spread a little extra Christmas cheer, presents can be taken to give to the Children; there are however a few rules to go by. Presents must be new; toiletries, hats, scarves, CD’s and DVD’s are all great gifts. It has been requested we don’t wrap these, but place them in gift bags – so they can be easily checked, and given to the child who will benefit the most from your generosity.

 

The cost will be the same as last year, £14 per car and with this you will be given a complimentary Santa Suit. Additional suits are available to purchase for £6 each. The VW Heritage Directors have kindly covered the cost of us initially purchasing the costumes; so all money taken on the day will go directly to the charity; that’s the entrance fee, and the suit cost. Payment will be by cash, on the day.
