Trouble getting your kids up to bed at night? Well, one of these ultra cool camper bunk beds should iron out any sleeptime dramas…

Get a load of this. It’s a kid’s bed modeled on a classic camper van – available as a bunk bed or with a bed up top and handy play space below. It not only looks fab, but has funky working bits as well, including battery powered lights and a steering wheel.

It’s the creation of a company called Dreamcraft Furniture in Sheffield and the VW themed beds are one of its most popular lines.

All the beds are hand made to order and are available in a variety of colours and can even be custom painted to match your own van, with order times in the region of eight weeks from ordering to delivery. As well as a split bus, the firm also offers a bay window model, complete with sliding side door. Brilliant!

The split window bed is 2.3m long by 1m wide and 1.7m high, the bay version 2.25m by 1m by 1.7m. And the price? A cool £950. Now that’s a lot cheaper than the real thing, of course, but also a price possibly worth paying to avoid those bedtime tantrums…

If only they made them in adult sizes…
