Hannover, May 1st, come rain or shine and whatever day it may fall. The Mai Kafer Treffen makes good use of the German public holiday by gathering over 3000 VW’s in one place for the day. Ben P was there, supporting our friends at Bugwelder and taking photo’s a plenty. Here’s what he saw, some crazy creations including a Porsche 944/1303 and The Bug Box Auwarter Carlux – a coachbuilt split based minibus type thing from 1961.
